Hannah advises on all aspects of employment law including contentious and non-contentious matters. Hannah also co-ordinates and project manages employment law and hr advice across the apac region to ensure that we deliver consistent high quality advice in a cost effective manner. Hannah has worked within the in-house legal team at asda (wal-mart) in 2005, and was seconded to barclays bank in london in 2008 as an employee relations manager. Recent work includes: advising ftse 100 client on termination process and risks relating to the dismissal of an hr director with responsibility for apac based in hong kong including compensation calculations, visa advice and termination documents; advising us mnc on hong kong employment law aspects of a us$20m disposal impacting employees in hong kong including employment transfers to purchaser; co-ordinating and advising on consultation for a ftse 250 company in respect of a global restructure across 17 jurisdictions including prc, hong kong and singapore; co-ordinating and advising on an employment contract review across 15 jurisdictions including several states in north america, hong kong, prc, uk, singapore, malaysia, and india; delivering advice across 10 jurisdictions on the employee impact of the disposal by way of share sale; advising client in respect of a hong kong labour tribunal claim including preparation for a conciliation meeting and settlement; drafting contracts of employment; drafting employment policies and handbooks; and delivering public and in-house seminars on the hr impact of the competition ordinance in hong kong. , Eversheds Sutherland
