Annie is a Consultant in the banking group of the Hong Kong office. She specialises in banking, finance and commercial law. She works predominately in structured finance, international finance and risk participations. She has extensive experience in trade finance, cross-border finance, factoring and true sale, receivables finance (on or off balance sheet), reviewing credit insurance and endorsements, bilateral and syndicated loans, participation/sub-participation (including sub-participation in receivables and supply chain products), property finance, asset-based finance (with experience over 10 jurisdictions), bank payment obligations, e-bill of lading and ESS/Bolero related products and security taking in overseas commonwealth and non-commonwealth jurisdictions. She also frequently handles alternative dispute resolution and factored debts recovery.

Her recent experience includes: advising on receivables purchase in ME, advising on sub-participation in a USD110 million supply chain program, advising on receivables purchase under government projects, structuring off-balance sheet receivables/credit insurance back transactions, off balance sheet prepayment facility, advising on bank payment obligations, acting for lender in a RMB2.1 billion property loan facility; advising on a USD 120 million per year structured receivables facility and advising on a USD70 million L/C injunction case in the PRC. Annie's clients include HSBC, Hang Seng Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, Bank of China, Mizuho, Societe Generale, Agricultural Bank of China, Wing Lung Bank, DBS, LaSalle, Nan Fung etc.

She (as co-author) has written the Hong Kong Chapter of the International Comparative Legal Guide Series on securitisation in 2011 for Global Legal Group.

Annie is a regular speaker at trade finance and/or receivables trainings for banks and institutions. Recent experience includes giving presentations for Mitsubishi, Banco Santander, HSBC, DBS, Hong Kong Post Office, ICC-HK, Tradelinks and Dun & Bradstreet, etc.

Annie is a Solicitor of Hong Kong since 2004 and a Solicitor of England & Wales since 2008. She is a graduate of the Tsinghua University (LL.B 2008). She is an accredited mediator of the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, the Law Society of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Mediation Accreditation Association Limited.
