Neasa is a Senior Associate in the Intellectual Property, Technology and Data Protection unit in Eversheds Sutherland Ireland. Neasa is both an Irish and English and Welsh qualified solicitor and is admitted as an attorney to the New York bar. She has experience in complex legal and commercial matters across a broad range of areas including data protection, commercial contracts, technology, consumer law, outsourcing, export control and intellectual property. Over the last 18 months, Neasa has particularly focused on GDPR matters. In that time, she has advised on GDPR compliance projects for over 50 clients. These projects have involved all aspects of GDPR compliance including transparency notices, internal policies, breach plans and data subject request guides, data deletion and retention guides, supplier contracts, data protection impact assessments, consent forms, direct marketing, advising on the role of the data protection officer, establishing a lead supervisory authority, carrying out a legitimate interest assessment, product terms and condition reviews and providing training to all levels of staff.
