Mahmoud is a senior associate in the Eversheds Amman office. Mahmoud Kreishan has a breadth of knowledge and experience in the regulatory sector. Having worked as a Legal Researcher at the Legislation and Opinion Bureau at the Jordanian Prime Ministry for 5 years, Mahmoud has been assisting in the drafting of several key legislation in Jordan. He has also conducted studies into the social, political, financial and economic impacts of existing legislation.

Prior to joining the Prime Ministry, Mahmoud worked as a Legal Consultant at Abdul Aziz Al Qasem Law Firm in Saudi Arabia. He was responsible for advising on a number key commercial contracts, as well as conducting legal research into comparative studies of international laws and Saudi Arabian laws.

Mahmoud is a member of the National Committee to draft law on associations, the Technical Committee for the drafting of a law on International Multimodal Transport of Goods, the Status of Jordanian personal status law, the committee for the preparation of instruments of Islamic finance law, the National Committee for Nuclear Security, and the Technical Committee to adjust the conditions of public sector employees in accordance with the decision of the Council of Ministers restructuring.

Mahmoud graduated Yarmouk University, Jordan with a bachelor’s degree in Law in 2003 and is a member of the Jordanian Bar Association.
