Justine is Banking and Finance Practice Counsel with a particular focus on Capital markets deals. As part of our banking and finance practice group, Justine has experience in licensing and regulatory matters, banking and finance transactions, including corporate financing and lending. Justine has acted in projects related to development and implementation of a employee incentive schemes for listed companies, various types of bond project transactions (convertible, covered, unsecured bonds), as well as general issues related to the eligibility and licensing of financial services.As part of Eversheds Sutherland Bitāns’ M&A and Corporate team, Justine has assisted the team in cross-border corporate transactions, rendering of commercial contracts as well as full scope due diligence projects with a particular focus on financial services regulations and transactions, including from English law perspective.Justine holds master of laws in international banking and finance law from University College London (LLM). Since 2020, Justīne is a member of the Latvian Bar Association being Assistant Attorney at Law to Attorney at Law Māris Vainovskis.
