Ginta leads our Public & Administrative Practice. She holds a PhD degree and has over 15 years’ experience advising clients on governmental decisions, policy, internal administrative procedures and regulatory issues. She embodies the rare ability of successfully merging inclination for academic research with a practical and hands-on business approach. She handles a broad array of matters involving aspects of public and administrative law, including applications for permits, responses to bid solicitations and requests for proposals, violation proceedings, condemnation proceedings, environmental assessments, and enforcement proceedings.

Counseling clients on spatial planning, zoning and aiding in the approval process of real estate improvements and development is another part of Ginta’s practice. She can assist you in obtaining a variety of government incentives and benefits in connection with the development of your property, as well as secure approval for your projects.

Ginta regularly represents clients at all stages of administrative proceedings. She has considerable experience in all aspects of appeal court proceedings, including judicial review.

Ginta is a member of the Latvian Bar Association. She teaches law to students at the University of Latvia, Turība University, as well as routinely holds lectures to future judges within their on-boarding training. She has experience in acting as editor to the monthly legal journal Law & Justice.

Ginta’s most significant recent projects include legal research and risk identification on spatial planning and environmental impact assessment issues for mayor railway project implementation. She also represents business interests of a client on legislative level concerning exploitation of the oil pipe line. Ginta’s recent work includes development of an international practice based public real estate management model for the major governmental agency, as well as real estate and tax related litigation projects. Ginta has also been acting in corporate governance assessment and improvement consulting projects.
