Krista is Eversheds Sutherland Bitāns Partner, Attorney at Law and Co-Head of Dispute Resolution Practice Group with more than 13 years of legal experience.

Krista specializes mainly in litigation matters, commercial dispute resolution, cross-border recovery, disputes with the Financial and Capital Market Commission, international commercial arbitration, as well as artificial intelligence matters.

Krista has gained significant experience in representing clients' interests in civil cases, administrative cases, as well as in the Court of Justice of the European Union. Recent experience covers cross-border recovery, challenging of contract’s, disputes regarding contract enforcement, sports law disputes, shareholder disputes, board liability issues, disputes related to the interpretation of the Financial Instrument Market Law (in respect to mandatory bid and squeeze-out), transfer of business, in claims connected with the execution of construction works, recognition and enforcement of international arbitration awards, insolvency disputes, as well as various issues of applicable law, jurisdiction and enforcement.

Krista has also advised clients on complex domestic and international commercial transactions.
