Elīna is a senior associate and from year 2017 also assistant attorney at law with several years of experience specialising in corporate and commercial law matters and consulting clients on banking and finance law issues.

Elīna has participated in more than 30 complex acquisitions of large companies, including cross-border, as well as reorganization and restructuring projects. Elīna has worked on share purchase agreements of various scales of commercial companies, complex commercial law and contract law issues. In addition, she participates in the preparation of legal opinions on issues related to commercial law, corporate governance, and public and administrative law.

She has gained extensive experience leading and participating in more than 20 due-diligence projects for companies in a variety of industries, including energy, financial services, manufacturing, real estate, and others. Elīna has experience in conducting in-depth research initiated by both the buyer and the seller, as well as in-depth legal research related to the insurance of guarantees provided in the transaction.

Elīna has obtained a master’s degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Latvia.

Full transaction support in connection with the sale of a wholesaler registered in Latvia to its management team, development of transaction documents and collateral documents in cooperation with Eversheds Sutherland colleagues abroad; Preparation of a due-diligence legal research report for a client about a financial service provider operating in the Baltics; Implementation of company reorganization and legal assistance in connection with the impact of reorganization on a company operating in the energy sector - obtained permits and licenses; Legal assistance to a significant office client in the purchase of shares in the acquisition of Latvian companies operating in the renewable energy sector.
