Senior Associate, Head of Corporate, Commercial and M&A

Elīna is an Assistant Attorney at Law and Head of Corporate and Commercial Practice Group at Eversheds Sutherland Bitāns.

Elīna has several years of experience specializing in corporate and commercial law matters and consulting clients on banking and finance law issues.

Elīna has participated in more than 30 complex acquisitions of large companies, including cross-border, as well as reorganization and restructuring projects. Elīna has worked on share purchase agreements of various scales of commercial companies, complex commercial law and contract law issues. In addition, she participates in the preparation of legal opinions on issues related to commercial law, corporate governance, and public and administrative law.

She has gained extensive experience leading and participating in more than 20 due-diligence projects for companies in a variety of industries, including energy, financial services, manufacturing, real estate, and others. Elīna has experience in conducting in-depth research initiated by both the buyer and the seller, as well as in-depth legal research related to the insurance of guarantees provided in the transaction.
