Michael Conroy Harris

Michael has been a projects and construction lawyer for 17 years and before that he practised as a chartered quantity surveyor. Michael has worked for a full range of clients including developers, institutions, government departments, project companies, construction companies, consultants and end users.

He is experienced in drafting, negotiating and advising on procurement strategies, project documents, construction and engineering contracts, consultants' appointments, warranties, bonds, guarantees, partnering arrangements and is fully conversant with all standard construction documents used on projects.

Michael spent over six months seconded to EDF Energy Renewables Limited in 2011, dealing with wind farm projects.

He writes extensively, including a regular column for Building Magazine and is a regular speaker at seminars and has been one of the editors of Butterworth local government contracts and one of the authors of Croner's construction law for professionals.
