Eda is a partner in our corporate group, and Head of International Corporate Reorganizations. She has focused on international reorganization projects since obtaining her LL.M. in International Law and being admitted to the State Bar of New York in 2000. Eda was hired by EY to work with their highly specialised corporate reorganizations practice, supporting the International Tax Service group in the implementation of complex reorganization projects for US multinationals. During her time in New York, Eda worked on several high profile projects, including the demerger of Daimler Chrysler and the global post-acquisition integrations of ADM, DuPont, FedEx, Sealed Air, ConocoPhillips, Exxon Mobile, S&P, UPS and McGraw Hill with up to 120 jurisdictions involved. Eda advises on the design and implementation of complex international corporate reorganizations, often triggered by a merger, carve-out/spinoff, legal entity rationalization or regulatory change. By working closely with multidisciplinary teams from across the firm, Eda ensures the optimal delivery of our clients' projects in a cost-effective and efficient way. She is integrated with our global tax group to help clients achieve business objectives while optimising global tax efficiency. Eda has developed a large portfolio of multinational clients with whom she has built enduring relationships.
