Joanne is a Principal Associate in our Construction and Engineering team and a qualified Solicitor Advocate, focussing on both disputes and transactional matters in relation to major infrastructure projects, particularly in the transport, energy and TMT sectors. Joanne advises UK and international public and private sector clients on all forms of dispute resolution, as well as dispute avoidance, settlement and pre-action advice. Joanne’s transactional experience includes advice on concession agreements, development agreements and complex framework arrangements, in addition to the full suite of construction and security documentation. Joanne recently led a multi-jurisdictional team advising the Government of Slovakia on a €120m ICC arbitration related to the €1.7bn D4R7 Highways project, following which she spent 10 months on secondment to Network Rail advising on a broad range of legal issues.
