Jeremy specialises in a wide range of pensions law issues, including:

trustees' responsibilities and duties  the Regulator's anti-avoidance powers  pension aspects of both corporate transactions and debt finance  investment-related matters  all other matters arising from establishing pension schemes to winding them up.

Jeremy's experience includes advice on:

various pension scheme mergers  establishing various final salary, career average revalued earnings, and money purchase pension schemes (including where sectionalised for funding purposes)  investment management and custody agreements  the closure of schemes to future accrual and the adoption of money purchase benefits for future service.

Jeremy is a full member of the Association of Pension Lawyers, and is on its Legislative and Parliamentary Committee. Jeremy is also a member of the Pensions Management Institute (PMI), and was awarded the Retirement Provision Diploma in July 2005. He is a member of the PMI committee responsible for the APMI qualification, and drafts the material for the law module. His articles are regularly published in the pensions press, and he often talks at conferences and seminars.
