Jodie Butler is a Senior Associate in the Real Estate Practice Group based in the Cardiff office, advising within the Energy sector. Working on the real estate elements of energy projects involving solar, wind, battery storage, grid stabilisation, nuclear and EfW, Jodie is experienced in acting for both developers and landowners on onshore and offshore developments from small scale schemes to projects of national and international significance. Jodie regularly advises on real estate issues arising in corporate transactions involving the acquisition of proposed and consented energy projects and frequently works on a cross-office basis with colleagues from Eversheds Sutherland's corporate, banking, construction, planning and regulatory team. More recently, Jodie has developed particular experience in the electric vehicle charging space, acting on both operator and landowner side. Jodie’s broader real estate experience includes acting on landlord and tenant transactions, estate management and property portfolio work.
