Sze-Hui is a corporate partner in the Singapore office of Eversheds. She has advised on both contentious and non-contentious matters in the areas of insolvency, commercial and corporate work in the Asia Pacific region. Sze-Hui has also practised with a City firm in London from 2001 - 2002. Her practice areas cover cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate finance and corporate restructuring. Advising one of US’s top private equity and venture capital fund in their investments in Singapore, Malaysia and India. Advising several Singapore-headquartered companies in the e-commerce space in their capital raisings with fund investors. Advised a technology company and its shareholders in a US$400 million disposal of their e-commerce business to an Indian-based conglomerate. Assisted a Swedish corporation (the world's biggest maker of heat exchangers) in relation to its US$731 million acquisition of a fifty per cent share in a leading Danish corporation's marine boiler business. Advised a leading German industrial conglomerate on a worldwide supply of IT services to a leading British telecommunications provider in Asia. Advised a Singapore-based real estate investment group in its acquisition of hotels and hotel management companies in Europe. Advised an Indonesian coal producer on its divestment of 50% of shares and its joint venture with the new shareholder in the development of its mine, rail and port operations. Advised a Philippine tollway operator on a proposed international bond offering of US$300 million under Section 4(2) of the United States Securities Act of 1933. Assisted a NASDAQ listed supply chain and retail software provider in relation to its global acquisition program of a software developer. Assisted a NASDAQ listed and Fortune 500 staffing solutions provider in relation to its acquisition program in Asia. Assisted a London Stock Exchange listed service provider in testing, inspection and certification of products, commodities and systems in relation to its acquisition program in Asia. Advised an Indonesian listed company on an international bond offering of US$110 million under Regulation S of the United States Securities Act of 1933 and a subsequent tack-on offering of US$50 million. Assisted with the internal investigations of a global consulting, systems integration and outsourcing company's Asian subsidiaries under the USA's Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.Admission
