Kirsten is a Senior Associate within our Corporate Claims team. She joined Eversheds in 2008 having previously carried out Claimant PI and general litigation work at a local firm. Since this date Kirsten has acted for various large corporate/public bodies defending EL, PL, product liability, and clinical negligence claims.

Kirsten's experience includes:

Acting for a credit provider in a number of claims arising from faulty PIP breast implants, to include advising the board on strategy and valuation; Dealt with claims against the police for wrongful arrest, false imprisonment and damage to property, as well as a high value RTA fatality arising from a police pursuit; Managing claims against prisons by both staff and prisoners including false imprisonment and general PI claims; Acting for a research council in claims arising from staff working on ships around the world and advising on the shipping laws covering such claims; Assisting in a clinical negligence claim arising from an injury following bariatric surgery; Advising on a complicated claim involving 6 parties arising from an accident on a race track during testing at a proving ground; Dealing with claims relating to hair treatment and damage arising from the same; Assisting in a claim arising from an accident concerning the rail industry with complicated contractual issues; and Assisting in a US case to obtain a deposition from a UK resident and co-ordinating the same
