Sarah is a Principal Associate in the Financial Services Dispute Resolution Product Group. She specialises in financial services related disputes and contentious financial services regulatory matters.

Sarah acts in relation to finance related disputes including issues relating to breach of mandate claims, debt recovery claims including both secured & unsecured debt and enforcing agreements subject to the Consumer Credit Act 1974. She has a wide range of experience in enforcing personal guarantees on behalf of retail banks.

Sarah also has experience of dealing with professional negligence claims, in particular against valuers and solicitors in relation to mortgage transactions.

Sarah has successfully defended an appeal by the Secretary of State to wind up a direct selling company in the public interest. This also involved advising on changes to the client's business.

Sarah advises in relation to investigations and enforcement action by the FSA. Recently she has advised an IFA in relation to various breaches of FSA Rules and Principles relating to the firm's pension transfer business. She has also advised a major financial institution in respect of breaches of FSA Rules and Principles relating to the sale of Guaranteed Asset Protection and Payment Protection Insurance Policies.

Sarah has also assisted on a number of Search Orders as the Supervising Solicitor firm.
