Mukhtiar is a senior partner in our London office and is international head of our Governments & Infrastructure Sector. He is also head of the national Development, Regeneration & Infrastructure product group within Real Estate. Mukhtiar has many years of commercial real estate, finance and development experience from advising on major development and infrastructure led urban regeneration projects. He is lead advisor and relationship partner for a number of key public sector as well as private sector clients of the firm. He specialises in advising both private sector entities and state entities/ state sponsored bodies involved in major mixed use urban growth projects. In particular, he advises on and develops innovative delivery, funding and partnering solutions which are required to solve the complex issues that are encountered on such major schemes. Over the years he has advised on major projects ranging from 2012 Olympics, the structuring for the delivery of a new city the Middle East through to the £5bn regeneration of the Euston Station estate.
