Career

Alexandre Duguay is a partner in the Corporate Department of Weil’s Paris office. His practice involves a wide range of domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions transactions, regarding both private and public companies. He has extensive experience on representing private equity sponsors in a full range of transactions (including leveraged buyouts, public-to-private transactions and recapitalizations). He has also developed an expertise in the area of business reorganizations, distressed M&A, debt restructurings, debtor and creditors’ rights, and financing transactions.

HLD on the sale of Elivie to Ardian Montefiore on the leveraged recap and high yield financing of Isabel Marant Apax Partners on the acquisition of Graitec Apax Partners on the acquisition of Destiny and OpenIP Apax Partners on the disposal of Melita to EQT Apax Partners on the acquisition of Expereo Tessi on the acquisition of ADM Value HLD on the acquisition of Rafaut and AEDS HLD on the acquisition of Kiloutou Marlink on the acquisitions of Telemar and OmniAccess Fives and the Sanchez family on the reorganisation of Fives’ share capital alongside CDPQ and PSP Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan on the buyout of OGF Montagu Private Equity and Astorg Partners in their sale of a majority stake in Sebia SA Oaktree on the sale of SGD Pharma to JIC Investment Co., Ltd. and the sale of Verescence (former perfumery division of SGD) to Stirling Square Capital Partners
