Romain Ferla is an Antitrust/Competition partner in Weil, Gotshal & Manges' Paris office.
The competition team of Weil Paris is led by Romain Ferla. Romain has significant experience in EU and French competition law matters, including merger control, cartels/abuses of dominance, and advising on distribution agreements, joint ventures, state aids. In merger control, Romain works both as counsel to purchasers (investment funds such as Advent, 3i, Oaktree, AXA PE, Sagard, Towerbrook, Chequers and industrial clients like Atos, Paprec, Laboratoires Thea, Fives), as counsel to sellers and as counsel to complainants. Currently, Romain is involved in several cases pending before the French Competition Authority, the EU Commission and before courts.
