Edward Reines is Co-Head of Weil’s nationwide Patent Litigation practice and Co-Head of the Firm’s Life Sciences practice. He is a renowned first-chair trial lawyer and trusted appellate advocate with extensive experience in the life sciences and technology sectors. His robust trial and appellate experience has earned him recognition as one of the top litigators and thought leaders in the patent field. Some of his clients include Illumina, Bio-Rad Laboratories, Bluestar Genomics, CareDx, and HP Inc., Invitae Corporation, and NeoGenomics. Ed is Past-President of the Federal Circuit Bar Association and Past-President of the Federal Bar Association's Northern District of California Chapter. He is dedicated to supporting disabled veterans rights pro bono, and teaches patent litigation at Berkeley Law School.
