A co-chair of the firm’s Technology, Media, and Telecommunications Industry Group, Becky represents emerging and established companies in protecting and commercializing intellectual property assets and advising on the technology and intellectual property aspects of licensing, merger and acquisition, joint venture, financing, and other strategic transactions. She manages all intellectual property and IT-related aspects of corporate, private equity, and financing transactions. Becky also has extensive experience drafting and negotiating technology and commercial contracts, including complex software; software-as-a-service; cloud; data; and other license and service agreements as well as research and development; consulting; supply; and distribution agreements. She also practices in open source software risk management counseling.
