Career

Jeremy S. Goldman is a partner in the Litigation Group and Co-Chair of the Blockchain Technology Group, focusing on entertainment, media, intellectual property, technology, commercial and privacy law.

Jeremy has more than fifteen years of experience litigating complex commercial disputes inside and outside of courtrooms in California and New York. His practice focuses on disputes in the media, entertainment, and technology industries, with significant subject matter expertise in copyright, trademark, contract, right of publicity, defamation, advertising, business, partnership law, privacy, and data breach. Jeremy is a passionate writer and oral advocate deeply committed to protecting his clients’ interests and vindicating their rights.

In addition to his litigation practice, Jeremy leverages his deep technical understanding of computers and the Internet to advise clients on novel issues of law at the intersection of intellectual property and technology. Jeremy co-chairs the firm's Blockchain Technology practice group and has been recognized by Above the Law as an "IP NFT Pioneer," representing platforms and creators in this rapidly growing area. Read his primer on the business and legal issues surrounding non-fungible tokens here.

Jeremy has published and spoken extensively on IP, entertainment, media, technology, and privacy matters. He is listed as a 2023 Super Lawyer for Intellectual Property Litigation in Southern California by Super Lawyers magazine. The 2022 and 2023 editions of Best Lawyers in America honor Jeremy for his Entertainment Law work.The Legal 500 has recognized Jeremy for his work on high-profile copyright and privacy matters and he is National Chapter Coordinator for The Copyright Society of the USA. Jeremy is also a regular contributor to IP and Media Law Updates, a Frankfurt Kurnit blog covering media, entertainment and IP developments.

In 2015, after spending eight years with the firm in New York, Jeremy moved across the country with his wife and two children to help launch Frankfurt Kurnit’s LA office. He is admitted to practice in New York and California.
