Jeff Harvey chairs HuntonAK’s Global Outsourcing and Technology practice. His practice focuses on large-scale, global business process and IT outsourcing transactions, including related technology transactions. He has negotiated, documented and assisted with significant outsourcing and other information technology transactions valued at several billion dollars. Recent deals include IT infrastructure, ERP/SAP implementation, full-scale banking information technology solutions, Software as a Service (SaaS), global e-commerce solution implementation, cloud computing, service desk, application development/maintenance, internet hosting, call center, and content management outsourcing transactions for Global 2000 companies across a variety of industries. Mr. Harvey advises clients throughout the lifecycle of the typical information technology transaction, from the RFP stage, through the down-selection of vendors, negotiations, and execution / post-execution (including change management and breach analysis). He also has significant experience handling software and information technology audit responses, and advising on emerging technologies related to generative AI, the metaverse, social media, marketing, and mobile. Mr. Harvey was previously recognized as a BTI “Client Service All-Star.”
