Career

Ms. McCrae assists clients with offered transactions relating to a diverse base of assets, including residential mortgage loans (primarily in the reverse space), synthetic credit risk transfer, servicing advances and other servicing-related collateral. She additionally advises clients on financings and bilateral transactions across a wide spectrum of structures and assets, including mortgage servicing rights and excess servicing spread. This breadth of experience allows her to help clients act quickly on market opportunities and innovate new structures in response to investor demand.

Ms. McCrae has volunteered as pro bono counsel with the City Bar Justice Center’s clinic at a shelter that serves unhoused mothers and children, and also volunteers at the Mobile Legal Help Clinic with the New York Legal Assistance Group.  In addition, Ms. McCrae serves as the New York Hiring Partner.
