Susan’s practice focuses on labor, employment and OSHA compliance, pandemic preparedness and response, litigation and defense.
Susan has over thirty years of experience representing management in all aspects of the employer/employee relationship. She has represented management in state, federal and administrative litigation across the country. She also provides legal advice and guidance regarding employment laws and has substantial experience investigating sexual harassment and other allegations of misconduct.
Susan’s OSHA practice includes compliance assistance, training, citation defense, participation in rulemaking, appellate administrative litigation, whistleblower cases, creation/oversight of PSM/RMP and general OSHA audit programs, and fatality/serious injury accident investigation. Throughout COVID, Susan has been deeply involved in pandemic preparedness, compliance, and state/federal OSHA defense.
With over three decades of legal experience representing employers, Susan has the ability to address any and all employment and safety related issues. She has been recognized as a Washington D.C. Trailblazer by The National Law Journal, 2020 and Runner-Up, Litigator of the Week, American Lawyer, 2020.
