Global privacy and cybersecurity.

Position

Managing partner of Hunton & Williams’ London office. Leads the UK privacy and cybersecurity practice. Practice focuses on all aspects of privacy, cybersecurity, information governance and e-commerce for multinational companies, including privacy impact assessments, analytics and big data, BCRs and model clauses, cloud computing, behavioural targeting, data breach and regulatory investigations. The proposed EU Data Protection Regulation and EU Cybersecurity Directive are currently a significant focus for her practice. Bridget’s background in complex technology transactions also enables her to advise on the specific data protection and information governance issues that occur in outsourcing transactions. Bridget is a frequent speaker on privacy-related issues, is editor of the specialist privacy journal privacy and data protection, and has contributed to a number of published texts.
