Career

Alexandra represents clients on a wide range of environmental matters including energy transition project permitting and development, contaminated site cleanup, environmental compliance counseling and enforcement defense, and environmental aspects of business transactions. Alexandra helps clients navigate the federal permitting and associated environmental review process across the spectrum of energy transition activities, including carbon capture and sequestration, electric transmission, renewable energy generation, and critical minerals. She also represents clients in matters involving the investigation and remediation of contaminated sites under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), and the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), as well as in cost recovery and contribution actions. Alexandra regularly counsels a range of clients on compliance with and defending against enforcement actions across a range of federal environmental laws, such as the Clean Water Act and RCRA. She also advises clients on the regulatory process, including preparing comments on and representing clients in judicial challenges to rulemakings and permits before federal district and appellate courts. Alexandra’s practice also involves advising clients on environmental risks associated with business transactions and development projects.
