Johannes Jördens is an Associate in the Hunton & Williams Brussels office whose practice focuses on German and European privacy, data protection and IT law.

Mr. Jördens advises multinational clients on all aspects of data protection and information technology law. He is dual-qualified in German and English law and has spent time on secondment to several businesses in the financial, utilities and TMT sectors. His data protection work includes advising on security incidents and complex data flows, as well as the implementation of comprehensive compliance regimes. Mr. Jördens also advises on technology, software and content licensing matters, e-commerce agreements and on- and offshore outsourcings.

Mr. Jördens is a member of the Brussels Bar (E-List), of the Celle Bar and a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales. He is also a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals ("IAPP").

Mr. Jördens obtained his LLM from the University of Munich, Germany, in 2008 and his LLB (Hons) in English Law with German Law from the University College of London, United Kingdom, in 2007.
