Civil and Commercial Litigation (complex litigation matters), class actions, both at the authorization stage (including representing Google, Aéroports de Montréal and many other clients) and at the merits (involving the tobacco class actions and representing Canadian Pacific Railway in the class action dealing with the Lac-Mégantic derailment), professional liability (civil and disciplinary) and defamation. Significant experience in constitutional and administrative law litigation, including the representation of the Conférence des juges de la Cour du Québec and other entities in constitutional matters, including before the Supreme Court in the constitutional challenge regarding the jurisdiction of the Court of Quebec and also acting in commissions of inquiry in particular (Gomery, Oliphant, Chamberland), as well as in professional law matters, including judicial ethics, representing various judges. Called to the Québec Bar in 1991.
