Position

Anna Bernal Riley is an associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department of Morgan & Morgan, where she regularly advises clients on various types and nature of judicial processes. Her areas of expertise include filing and processing ordinary and executive proceedings of higher amounts in civil jurisdiction, derived from contractual and torts liabilities, for the recovery of overdue credit portfolios and for the recognition of obligations derived from unlawful acts and omissions or where any kind of fault or negligence has intervened, for the repair or compensation of damages generated by these, as well as other special proceedings that are heard in the administrative jurisdiction; the execution of precautionary measures to ensure the outcome of the processes and legal actions that our firm files and promotes.

Ms. Bernal obtained an LL.B. from the School of Law of Universidad Santa Maria La Antigua (Magna Cum Laude). She also holds an LL.M. in Procedural Law (Summa Cum Laude) from this university. In addition, Ms. Bernal completed an International Certification in Human Rights and Conventionality Control.

Ms. Bernal is admitted to practice law in the Republic of Panama.
