Position

Romulo Roux is a Partner at Morgan & Morgan and heads the Corporate Law practice group of the firm.  Mr. Roux leads the team that advises clients in multiple areas of law when doing business in Panama.

Mr. Roux has over 20 years of expertise advising both domestic and international companies, multinational corporations, banking and financial entities, governmental entities and private investors in a wide range of matters.  Under his supervision, the firm advised clients on the management of complex transactions including cross-border operations.  He has acted as representative for the financing of projects, as well as in banking and telecommunications transactions, representing institutions involved in the country´s most important projects such as the Panama Canal Expansion.

Chambers & Partners, Which Lawyer Yearbook and IFLR 1000 have recommended Mr. Roux as a leading individual.

In the public sector, Mr. Roux has served as Ministry of Foreign Affairs, President of the Board of Directors of the Panama Canal, Ministry of the Panama Canal Affairs and President of the Panama Water Authority Committee.

Mr. Roux obtained a B.S. in Marketing (Cum Laude) at the Babson College, in Boston, Massachusetts; a J.D. (Cum Laude) at the University of Miami, Florida; and a MBA at the Kellogg School of Management at the Northwestern University of Illinois.

Mr. Roux is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA) and the National Bar Association of Panama.

Mr. Roux is admitted to practice law in the Republic of Panama.
