Career

Gustavo has wide experience in complex real estate transactions, especially in rural properties, office buildings, shopping centres, hotels & tourism, and logistics. Recognized by his broad know-how, attention, and commitment, he has an extensive track record involving rural properties, which contemplates assistance to a diversified range of clients in the farmland and timberland sectors, including Bracell, PSP Investments, Radar Propriedades Agrícolas, Proterra Investment Partners, Macquarie Crop Partners, El Tejar, Xingu Agri, The Rohatyn Group, Mombak and Re.green. His experience on rural properties involves direct and indirect acquisitions, rural leases/partnerships, title legitimacy due diligences, georeferencing, carbon credit projects and environmental licensing. Gustavo is a member of the Rural Properties Commission of the Brazilian Real Estate Institute (IBRADIM) and the Legal Committee of the Brazilian Rural Society.

He has been working at Pinheiro Neto since 2003 and has received his bachelor’s and real estate specialist degrees (urban leases) from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, as well as an extension degree in agribusiness from Insper - Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa and had an international academic experience at Georgetown University Law Centre. Currently, Gustavo is attending the master’s program in business law at Fundação Getulio Vargas.
