Rodrigo Martone practices in tax law, focusing on tax litigation and advisory. He has more than 20 years’ experience in conducting judicial and administrative proceedings, acting in the defense of Brazilian and foreign clients across a range of industries, before judicial and administrative courts throughout Brazil. He also acts in the credit rights area, participating in transactions comprising the acquisition of judgment credits held against the government as a result of writs of payment (precatórios), appraisal of such assets, due diligence review of the procedures that originated such credit rights, and investigation into the financial health of the respective assignors, including transactions involving government authorities for securitization of delinquent tax receivables. He has been frequently named as a leading lawyer in tax and financial law by specialized publications.
