Career

Anton Goldstein is a Partner in the Corporate department in the British Virgin Islands office of Conyers. Anton joined Conyers in 2009 and became a partner in 2013.

Anton has a broad corporate practice with particular expertise in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private equity, capital markets and corporate finance. He consistently advises on the largest and most prominent transactions in the BVI and is recognised as one of the leading M&A and capital markets lawyers in the jurisdiction.

Anton has advised on some of the largest and most prominent BVI transactions of recent years, including:

the US$2 billion business combination between Perimeter Solutions and EverArc the US$575 million acquisition of Finaro by Shift4 AdvancedAdvT Limited (formerly Marwyn Acquisition Company I Limited) on its proposed US$364 million acquisition of M&C Saatchi. the US$55 billion sale of TNK-BP to Rosneft (believed to be the largest BVI private M&A transaction of all time) the US$2 billion Fix Price IPO (the largest ever BVI IPO) DSV’s US$1.35 billion acquisition of UTi Worldwide (the third largest BVI public M&A transaction of all time) the initial public offering of Lenta (which created the largest publicly listed BVI company) the initial US$2 billion initial public offering of Despegar on the New York Stock Exchange the US$1.4 billion business combination of Burger King and Justice Holdings the US$3.4 billion sale of General Electric’s water business the US$1 billion investment by ChemChina in Mercuria the US$600 million acquisition of Airports Worldwide by Vinci the US$3.8 billion refinancing by Premier Oil the £237 million refinancing of Camden Market, and the take privates of OpenTV, MDM Engineering and Rio Verde Minerals
