Elizabeth Lenas

Position

Elizabeth Lenas is a partner based in the New York office. Ms. Lenas’ advises private equity, growth, credit, venture capital and co-investment funds and other alternative asset managers on fund formation, co-investments, spin-offs, joint ventures, shareholding arrangements, managed accounts and other transactions. She also acts as counsel on consortium and co-invest arrangements in numerous large acquisitions and advises LPs in connection with their investments in funds.

Career

Ms. Lenas joined the firm in 1999, became counsel in 2009 and became a partner in 2013.

Memberships

Ms. Lenas is a member of the Committee on Private Investment Funds of the Bar Association of the City of New York. She regularly speaks on private investment related topics, and has spoken at the IBA/ABA International Conference on Investment Funds and the Maples Investment Funds Forum. Ms. Lenas is a member of the Bar of New York.

Education

Ms. Lenas received a J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was a James Kent Scholar, and a B.A. from New York University, where she was a University Scholar.
