Masoud Zabeti represents clients in complex litigation and arbitration, as well as regulatory matters. Masoud handles multijurisdictional matters with a particular focus on Russia/CIS, the Middle East, and major offshore financial centers. He acts on disputes arising from complex investment products and funds and advises in trade finance disputes.
Masoud also has a great deal of trial and appellate court experience, having taken many cases to trial, as well as numerous cases to the Court of Appeal and also the Supreme Court.
Masoud represents financial sponsors and creditors as well as debt and equity investors on a range of disputes and restructurings involving corporate and property acquisition finance. In the field of retail banking, his practice has centered on developing strategies for clients to deal with mass consumer mobilization. He also possesses deep experience on matters involving payment systems. Another major concentration of Masoud’s practice is the use of effective civil powers granted by courts across many jurisdictions to trace and freeze assets and secure evidence. Additionally, Masoud advises clients on major investigations across the world, including those arising from fraud and data compromise.
