Position

Paul Worsnop is Partner within the corporate department in Jersey. He has a broad practice and advises on all aspects of corporate and finance transactions with a particular emphasis on debt and equity capital markets, structured finance, funds and technology.

Paul is involved with a number of industry working groups on the Island looking at areas including capital markets, the implementation and regulation of Fintech in Jersey, the AML/KYC regime and legal reform.

Career

Prior to commencing his legal career, Paul spent two years as a project manager in the software development industry which is reflected in the commercial and practical advice he offers his clients and his sector focus.

Qualified as a Solicitor of England and Wales in 2014 and was sworn in as an Advocate of the Royal Court of Jersey in January 2021.

Appleby is adept at both listings on TISE and the issuance of CLOs, advising clients from across the firm’s network on EU-compliant structures.
