Appleby represents clients facing trust disputes and is also able to act for parties in issues arising out of insolvency and restructuring procedures. Fraser Robertson took up sole leadership of the practice following Jared Dann‘s departure, with a practice centred on trust and broader commercial disputes, and with considerable experience in fraud and asset tracing matters. Both trust and employment issues fall under the purview of Niall MacDonald, who also advises on a range of regulatory challenges, while Lara von Wildenrath maintains a broad practice that covers fraud, insolvency and asset recovery. Bedell Cristin‘s Michael Gradidge joined the team in January 2024, adding considerable ICC arbitration experience, with trust disputes specialist Sam Williams following from Collas Crill in April 2024.
