He advises on a range of commercial and corporate finance transactions and his practice includes; advising on banking and structured finance transactions, credit restructuring, public and private M&A.
Ashley has worked on several transactions for financial institutions and private equity and funds clients, including HSBC Group, MUFG Bank Ltd, Standard Bank Group, Standard Chartered Bank, Investec Bank Limited, Barclays Capital and JP Morgan.

Ashley graduated from the University of Mauritius with an LLB (Honours).
He completed his Vocational Examinations at the Council of Legal Education, Mauritius in November 2008 and was sworn in as an Attorney-at-Law in January 2010.
