Shianee Calcutteea is a partner in Bowmans' Mauritius practice.

She specialises in corporate law, banking law, mergers and acquisitions, compliance, and legal training. Her experience has included advising on various corporate restructurings and share acquisitions. She has prepared shareholders’ agreements, drafted security documents and credit agreements for cross-border financing and undertaken due diligence exercises into various entities incorporated in Mauritius for M&A transactions. More recently, Shianee advised on the first crowdfunding platform in Mauritius.

Shianee has an LLB (Hons) from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK, and completed a Bar Professional Training Course at the University of the West of England, Bristol, UK.
