Philippa Sutherland is a senior associate in Bowmans’ Johannesburg office Commercial Property Practice.

She specialises in transactions and due diligence in the property sector (including underlying transaction agreements), property developments (including residential and commercial, freehold, and sectional title developments), and commercial sale and lease agreements.

She has experience in all aspects of commercial property law, conveyancing and notarial practice, property development and property finance and has been involved in the establishment of numerous freehold and sectional title, commercial, industrial and residential developments throughout South Africa.

She has BA and LLB degrees from Rhodes University.
