Mlungisi Mahlangu is a seasoned corporate lawyer and mergers and acquisitions expert with a deep-rooted commitment to legal excellence and social impact. With a wealth of experience spanning prestigious firms in the United States and the United Kingdom, Mlungisi has emerged as a leading figure in the field, particularly renowned for his expertise in cross-border transactions across the African continent.

His practice focuses on matters in the energy, healthcare, and financial services sectors. International research organisations, including Legal 500 have widely recognised his exceptional legal acumen. Mlungisi was also shortlisted as a finalist for Partner of the Year at the Africa Legal Awards, 2024.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mlungisi is deeply involved in various community initiatives. He has served on numerous boards, including the Council, a non-governmental organisation dedicated to promoting sports, arts, and culture among young people.

Mlungisi has also contributed significantly to the corporate foundation of a top 40 JSE-listed company, serving as an independent trustee and member of its audit and risk committee and as a member of its financial resources management committee.
