Jon specialises in all aspects of cross-border and domestic mergers and acquisitions (M&A), equity capital markets, black economic empowerment transactions, corporate finance and securities law.​

Jon has advised clients across various industries including mining, energy and the industrials sector. He spent six months working on secondment at Anglo American to assist with a number of M&A transactions.​
