Career

Kim specialises in insurance and commercial disputes, with a focus on professional indemnity and liability-related matters. She has 25 years of post-qualification experience, ranging in areas across financial services, tax, audit, accounting, intermediary, professional indemnity, fire and construction related claims. Kim acts for local and international insurers and brokers, in both liability and recovery matters and on policy coverage issues. She advises auditors on regulatory issues and assists in disciplinary actions. Kim has expertise in corporate dispute resolution and has been involved in cross border class actions. More recently she has advised on cyber risks, e-mail hackings, breaches, and cyber-related liability matters. Kim holds a master's degree in Tax, and is also a Certified Forensic Examiner (CFE), extremely useful qualifications in assisting and advising clients (both insurers and insureds) in privileged, and often highly sensitive, financial investigations.​
