Ayanda specialises in civil law and matters relating to socio-economic rights with a major focus on HIV and gender discrimination. She has substantial experience in matters relating to access to justice, administrative law, traditional authorities and constitutional law.

Ayanda has assisted various non-profit organisations to incorporate as non-profit companies, trusts or non-profit organisations with the Department of Social Development. She has also helped several non-profit organisations to re-structure for effective governance and has gained vast experience in the healthcare sector.
