Zelda is an expert in all aspects of financial sector legislation, particularly as it relates to long-term and short-term insurers and financial services providers and the interplay between such entities and other regulated institutions such as banks and collective investment schemes. She has substantial experience in advising on changing legislation and the impact thereof on the financial services industry and hosts regular workshops on these aspects. She advises on all issues affecting the financial services sector, such as remuneration models, intermediary, outsourcing and binder relationships, group scheme structuring, cell captive regulation, bancassurance models, group supervision and regulation, and re-organisation of large financial services groups and regularly represents such clients in ombudsman complaints, investigations and litigation matters. She also regularly interacts with the Financial Services Board on behalf of clients. Clients include insurance companies, financial services providers (local and off-shore), banks and administrators. Prior to joining Webber Wentzel, she spent a term abroad working at a London-based law firm.
