Career

Carla is an Intellectual Property (IP) specialist. She advises on contentious and non-contentious IP matters. Her experience includes assisting in national and international protection, management and exploitation of IP as well as enforcement strategies. She is also involved in all services associated with trademarks, designs and patents, including filing, prosecution, litigation, transactional work and strategic advice. She provides advice on complex corporate transactions relating to the exploitation of IP rights, the monetisation and structuring of IP rights (such as through cross-border licensing and assignments), IP issues flowing from international acquisitions and disposals, public offerings, corporate reorganisations, international structures as well as exchange control issues and IP due diligence investigations. She also advises on media, technology and telecommunications related matters, focusing on licensing, regulatory considerations and due diligence investigations.
