Career

Sarah has experience in a variety of competition law matters from merger control to prohibited practices (horizontal, vertical and abuse of dominance) and litigation. She has undertaken competition law compliance reviews and prepared corporate leniency applications on behalf of clients and has worked across various sectors including airline, banking, financial services, healthcare, mining, oil and gas, railway, retail and security. Her expertise in competition law is not limited to South Africa but includes other African countries, specifically Botswana, Namibia, Tanzania, Swaziland, Zambia and Zimbabwe. During 2017, Sarah was seconded for six months to Linklaters in London, where she was exposed to various aspects of competition and anti-trust law in the United Kingdom and the European Union.
