Ana Carolina Barretto is Head of the Projects, Banking and Natural Resources practice group at Veirano. She specializes in the areas of project finance and infrastructure development with significant expertise in the infrastructure and natural resources industries. Ms. Barretto advises clients on some of the most prominent and high-value infrastructure and project finance deals in Brazil.

Ms. Barretto represents sponsors, lenders, EPC contractors and equipment suppliers with their acquisition, development and financing of construction and infrastructure projects.

She is widely recognized by international publications such as Chambers Global and Latin America, The Legal 500, IFLR 1000, LatinLawyer 250, Euromoney Expert Guides and Who’s Who: Legal as a leading lawyer for project development and finance, energy and construction law.

Ms. Barretto served as Chair of the Power Law Committee of the International Bar Association from 2014 to 2016.
