Career

Vitor Rozenthal is a partner with extensive experience in M&A deals (buy-side and sell-side), corporate restructurings and tender offers (OPAs). Mr. Rozenthal has advised numerous clients on complex transactions, with a focus on public companies and private equity. Recognized by the publication Legal 500 Latin America for Corporate and M&A, Vitor finished 2020 in the 1st position of the Rising Star Dealmaker M&A ranking from the Transactional Track Record (TTR) platform, advising clients in deals amounting to R$ 21.6 billion.

In recent years, Vitor was involved in several of the most prominent transactions in the Brazilian market, including the R$ 16.5 Billion competitive bid for the acquisition of Oi’s mobile assets, the R$4 billion sale of the Brazilian operations of Laureate Group and the R$14 billion acquisition of CPFL Energia by State Grid (and subsequent tender offers). Vitor has also acted as counsel in several other M&A transactions and corporate restructurings involving, among others, Banco Bradesco, Kinea, Engie and Claro.

Mr. Rozenthal worked as a foreign associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, a leading NY-based law firm, between 2017 and 2018.
